Exploring Demand Incentives in the Sustainable Hydrogen Sector
Leading industry players gathered on 17 March at the Green Hydrogen Business Alliance’s collaboration lab in Berlin to tackle one of the PtX most crucial market challenges: missing demand-side incentives. Key industry participants explored solutions to accelerate offtake agreements and investments together with the expertise of the GET.invest Finance Catalyst.
Participants discussed existing and upcoming demand support mechanisms as well as sector-specific hurdles to the establishment of long-term offtake agreements.
With offtakers needing assurance and incentives, this initiative is critical to unlocking green hydrogen’s full potential—both in Europe and partner countries.
Pathways to Financing Hydrogen Projects in emerging Markets
On the sidelines of the European Hydrogen Week in Brussels, the Green Hydrogen Business Alliance (H2BA) together with the colleagues of GET.invest showcased their commitment to support hydrogen projects become bankable, given the great potential of Green Hydrogen for the energy transition. The side event on 21 November showcased the programme’s advisory services available to this emerging sector. During the panel, GET.invest Finance Catalyst Advisor Gregor Paterson-Jones presented the journey of two of GET.invests hydrogen clients, such as HDF Energy.
