This study employs systemic modelling to project the impact of a green hydrogen economy on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Brazil, Namibia and South Africa. Four simulated scenarios explore the role of green hydrogen in these countries’ national development by 2050, assessing interdependencies and potential impacts. Further scenarios can also be simulated using the tool. The Green Hydrogen Business Alliance commissioned the Millenium Institute with the systemic modelling and study.
Additionally, the development assessment tool of a green hydrogen market for Brazil, Namibia and South Africa allows interested users to explore interdependencies and possible impacts for each of the three countries.
