Ceremonial Handover of Study on Standards and Certification to Namibian Standards Institution

On Tuesday, 25 March, a two part report outlining a possible standards and certification roadmap for green hydrogen in Namibia was handed over to the Namibian Standards Institution (NSI).

The study was initiated by the Green Hydrogen Business Alliance in cooperation with the Namibian Ministry of Mines, Energy and Industry (MMEI) and the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade (MIT) to strengthen Namibia’s quality infrastructure for green hydrogen.

By adopting global best practices described in the report, Namibia ensures safety and market reliability, paving the way for a sustainable, competitive green hydrogen market.
